Jean-Marie Papoi

Jean-Marie studied broadcast journalism at Kent State, but preferred shooting and editing to reporting and interviewing. TV news was too rigid for the creativity she wanted to explore with video production, so she started making documentaries. She honed her skills behind the camera and in front of the editing machines while working for a PBS station after college.
